NFTs onto merchandise#150

Feature for users to print their selected NFTs onto cups / other merchandise, or for collection owners to do that for sale.

If collection owners can tap into the shop functionality, rather than have their own shop, will have additional marketing effort from more people.

Point of reference - VistaPrint (they’ve grown really big now and really expanded from a simple print business)

Interesting line of thought but I’m not sure I understand the ask entirely. Are you essentially saying LooksRare should operate a service similar to VistaPrint or RedBubble? I think that’s outside the scope of an NFT marketplace and includes a lot of logistical overhead.

No of course not. But don’t be intimidated by the VistaPrint scope in any case, they have come a long way from just priting name cards. There is some piecemeal functionality that LR may be able to copy, like image positioning UI onto merchandise - (Select image - crop / move the image on a t-shirt / hoodie / cup etc.)

I’m not sure about the internal workings of LR and the existing marketplace. Logistical overhead may not be an issue if logistics (manufacture and distribution) is outsourced in the first place which would be ideal.

The main line of thought tho, is to find a way to leverage on technology to scale the scope of products, reach and distribution.
