What would classify as a ‘historical NFT’
At what point would you consider a regular NFT to become a historical NFT?
Are historical NFTs just old NFTs or do they have to have sigificance?
If they have to have siginificance, what defines significant?
“Historical NFT” or “Vintage NFT” Would be token projects created from 2011-2018. Since Looks Rare is currently ETH only it would begin with Etheria, which was created in 2015. As a community we would be able to create a direct line of communication to provide all collections. Also we have tools that devs have created that can link to an API
@Gizmo - Generally I believe most of the people within the historical community agree that as long as it’s before 2019, without any dealbreakers within the contract. The older the better. One thing that is hard to account for is all of the Pre-ERC721 NFTs, most of which have a wrapper contract. I run a site at nftarchaeology.io that documents any serious issues as well as all the information on each historical NFT (on Ethereum). I also have an API available at api.nftarchaeology.io you can use if it’s helpful.
L👀KS Vintage
Vintage NFTs = 2011-2018
the contract creation date shall be used to avoid missinformations
Your best proposition so far. People will learn NFTs and avoid new scams.
Thanks Looksrare for this idea. Could you put the contract date creation date? Wrapper is not considered as the original date.
Hopefully this gets done🙏🏻
